We want you to to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. But we get it, sometimes something just doesn't work!
If you would like to return your item we are happy for you to do so, we just need to make sure a few standard conditions are met.
1. Please email us at email@example.com confirming your order number, name and the product you are returning however please note we do not accept returns for those items specified as "made to order" on the relevant product page, this does not affect your statutory rights.
2. Your communication confirming you would like to return your order must be received within 30 days after the item was delivered to you. This is in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
3. All return products must be in the original condition in which they were delivered and with all the original packaging. Please also include a copy of the invoice sent to you via email after you made your purchase.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you request a refund within 14 working days from receipt of your goods, you are entitled to a full refund including your original delivery cost paid if applicable. This includes any delivery costs charged on your order, but excludes any charges incurred in returning the order to us. If a return is not requested within 14 days, we will refund the purchase price but not any delivery costs incurred by us in sending the order to you.
2. You will receive the refund back to the original method of payment.
3. Your refund will be processed as soon as the goods have been returned to us. The funds should then be back in your account within approximately 2-5 local business days.

Returning your item:
For small to medium sized orders we recommend using Collect Plus or My Hermes as these return methods enable you to drop your parcel off at a store that is convenient for you. You can learn about these services here: www.collectplus.co.uk and www.myhermes.co.uk
We want to ensure that your item arrives to you in perfect condition. If however you receive an item that has been damaged, we will make every effort to get a replacement item to you as quickly as possible and at no cost to you. Damaged goods must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange a pick up of your damaged goods and a delivery of your new replacement item.

2. Cancellation of orders on products that are not "made to order" must be made as soon as possible after the order is placed. We are only able to cancel those orders that have not yet been shipped. If the item has been shipped, you must then follow the conditions for returning the item as specified above under returns. Please note we aim to dispatch all items within 24-48 hours.
Made Modern do not have an exchange policy so we would recommend that you return your original order (as per the terms and conditions above) and then place a new order for your preferred item.
